The State Integration Council, chaired by the Hon’ble Chief Minister, has been established to advise the government on various matters. Its primary objective is to foster and strengthen national unity and communal harmony through the active involvement of both governmental and non-governmental organizations. The council encourages participation from workers, entrepreneurs, students, and teachers in efforts to promote national integration. It also organizes programs to engage all segments of society in initiatives that uphold unity and harmony.

Additionally, the council focuses on effective communication and awareness campaigns to reinforce national unity. It ensures the proper implementation of the three-language formula and works to eliminate linguistic, regional, and religious extremism, as well as other divisive influences. In times of national security concerns, the council seeks to mobilize public cooperation to safeguard the nation’s integrity. Furthermore, it aims to enhance the effectiveness of district integration committees. As a high-level advisory body, the State Integration Council provides strategic recommendations to the state government. s
